Alison is a highly motivated marketing and communications professional with extensive experience managing community/corporate relationships and programs including retail, hospitality as well as independent documentary film production. A strategic thinker, she is always developing fresh ideas for her clients without losing sight of the brand message.
During her 20+ year career as Marketing Manager for shopping centres across the country, she racked up 25 awards from the International Council of Shopping Centres recognizing her creativity both nationally and internationally. Her work was recognized for sales and merchandising programs, consumer advertising campaigns, public relations initiatives, community service and retailer motivation programs.
Marketing and communications is an evolving species and with over thirty years in the field, creating the optimal media mix has changed from simple radio and print, to embracing social media, viral videos, websites and guerilla marketing. It’s this breadth of experience that provides an excellent foundation for Alison to build strategic and creative marketing plans for her clients.
Alison is a Member of the Culinary Arts Program Advisory Committee of Okanagan College serving as the Marketing and Communications member working to establish the new School of Wine, Food & Tourism.
She was inducted in 2014 to Les Dames d’Escoffier British Columbia.
